It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Elizabeth Atkins (Bastrop, Louisiana), who passed away on January 1, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Byron Atkins; her sister Marion Ferguson Yarbrough; her parents, Chester Ferguson and Virginia Orr Ferguson; and her grandparents, M. V. Orr, Virginia Murrell Orr, Robert G. Ferguson and Sarah Tucker Ferguson.
She is survived by: her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Annelle Ferguson; her nephews, Robert Allen Ferguson and John David Ferguson (Cherie); her great-niece Kristen Ferguson Beckler (Ryan); her brother-in-law Paul Yarbrough; and her son Douglas Yarbrough (Bianka).
