With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Jean Humphries of Bastrop, Louisiana, born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Franklin Fain and Rebecca Adams Fain; her husband William Jewell Humphries; her stepson Randy Humphries; and her siblings, Wilbur, Dorfus, Ann McGary and Marie Plank.
She is survived by: her sons, Stan Humphries and William Stanley Humphries (Connie); her stepson Bryan Humphries (Linda); and her siblings, Noel Fain (Marilyn) and Hazel Beard. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
