It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommye Jean McKnight Hummel (Bastrop, Louisiana), who passed away on December 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Clifton McKnight; her parents, Dewey Sanford and Mary Sanford; and her siblings, Helen Smith, Doris McIver, Wilma Foster, LaVon Sanford, Glen Sanford and Thurman Sanford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Crumley (Danny), Belinda Boykin (Randy) and Susie Kennedy (Vance); her brother Herman Sanford (Carolyn); and her grandchildren, Brian Boykin (April), Tara Hughes (Chris), Kelli Crumley, Todd Boykin (Hannah), Justin Martin (Cheryl), Lindsay Tomlinson (Trent), Michael Martin (Lauren), Jordan Kennedy, Lane Boykin, Dillon Boykin and Chris Hughes. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
