He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren M. Dobbins and Aline Pate Dobbins; and his siblings, Drew, Erline and Chloie.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Dobbins; his grandchild Mark Dobbins; and his children, Marisa Dobbins, Kyle Dobbins, Marty Dobbins, Natasha Dobbins, Ethan Dobbins, Matthew Dobbins, Kathryn Dobbins and Sarah Dobbins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his beloved alma mater, the Chemical Engineering Department at Louisiana Tech University via the Marbury Alumni Center, P.O. Box 3183, Ruston, LA 71272-3183 to inspire youth to pursue this field.
