He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah Everson, Sr. and Rachel Everson; and his siblings, Audrey Banks, Mable Everson, Dorothy Dorsey, Bessie Melton, Delene Torry and Herbert Everson.

He is survived by: his son John Ross (Kendra); his siblings, Effie L. Allen, Lillie Poland, Irene Everson, Amos, Sr., Adolph, Sr. and Frederick, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Demonte, Raquel, Ryan, Tyler and Trystin.
