She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Bercegeay and Carolyn Bercegeay (Mire); and her brother Gary Joseph Bercegeay. She is survived by: her husband George Gateley; her sons, Damon Duhe (Angela), Chad Duhe and Blaine Duhe (Ashley); her stepdaughter Jamie Gateley; her sisters, Carol Ann Bercegeay Gautreaux and Debra Bercegeay Cross; and her grandchildren, Cole, Hope, Faith Duhe, Piper Duhe, Brooks and Isla Duhe.
Joann Bercegeay Gateley went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2021, ending a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
