He was predeceased by : his wife Rachel DeBlieux Hollingsworth; his parents, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth Sr. and Pauline Cooper Hollingsworth; and his siblings, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth Jr., Jane Hollingsworth Neuman and JoAnn Moore Cashio.

He is survived by : his siblings, Ann Hollingsworth Rozier and John Thomas Hollingsworth; his daughters, Jami Hollingsworth Redmond (Coy Redmond) and Elizabeth Dawn Hollingsworth; his grandchildren, Cash Coy Redmond, Christopher Blake Edelmann (Laura Edelmann) and Christyn Edelmann; and his great grandchild Catalina.
