She is survived by: her husband Alvin Earl Harkins, Jr.; her great grandchild Thomas (Analise Harkins); her sister Carolyn Landaiche; and also, Gwendolyn, Walker Harkins, Shelby Bertsch, Jared Bertsch, Noelie Harkins, Debra Harkins, Colin Harkins, Abigail Harkins, Luke Harkins and Claire Harkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Great Books Foundation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, or the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women.
