We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 82, Virginia Materiste Buriege (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Materiste and Katherine Ippolito Materiste. She is survived by: her husband Louis Buriege; her daughters, Laurie Snaith (Don) and Gina Powell (Blake); her grandchildren, Sydney Sinon (Evan) and Marli Ann Snaith (Dylan Ramsey); her great grandchild Stetson Sinon; and her stepgrandchildren, Shannon Snaith and Simone Snaith-Blackburn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area.
