It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Alver King Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on April 21, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Denise Courey King; his siblings, Kenneth Lionel "Lonnie" King (Sandy) and Glenda King Purpera Ozbun; his children, William Alver, Tunney, King, III (Rhonda), Alicia "Lisa" King Davis, Jamie King Richard (Greg) and Lindsay Diane King; his granddaughter Jillian Ruby King; and his children, Jayden Alexander King and Jacobe Aaron Scott. He is also survived by grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
