He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hutchinson and Bertie Hutchinson (McBride); his wife Peggy Moore Hutchinson; his sister JoAnn Chapman; and his great grandchild Haiden Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Hebert (Davey), William Hutchinson III (Billy) and Nancy Whetstine (Karl); his grandchildren, Anna Saucier (Ben), Daniel Hebert (Jana), Jaylin Ammons, Jacob Ammons (Brittany), Liana Perry (Cody) and Merris Whetstine; his great grandchildren, Reed, Luke, Maverick, Rory, Jayden, Jase, Robby, Wesley and Dante; and his friend Vickie Rabb.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zoar Baptist Church (11848 Hooper Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70818). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Above all, his most meaningful accomplishment was the steadfast care he provided Peggy throughout her lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.
