She was predeceased by : her husband Alvin Green; and her sons, A. Y. Green and Ripley Hayes Green, MD. She is survived by : her brother Paul W. Hayes; her sons, Preston Pepper Green and Silas Rockford (Rocky); her grandchildren, Dustin Green, Will Green (Kristen), Adam Green, Austin Green (Bree), Connor Green (Abbi), Annie Green Wise and Chance Green Hunter (Paul); her great grandchildren, Sophie Wise, Wesley Wise, Olivia Wise, Tatum May Green, Miller Green and Blakely Green; and her caregiver Lois Bodine.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bernice United Methodist Church building fund.
