With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn V. Nations of Bogalusa, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lockwood Marler and Edna O'Neal Marler; and her son Michael Carroll Nations. She is survived by: her husband James W. Nations; and her children, Larry Nations of Bogalusa, LA, Dana Nations (Liz) of Tylertown, MS, Celia Jones (Jack) of Yukon, OK and Valerie Plonski (Matt) of Morrisville, NC.
