It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Ann Mingo Perkins Ross of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her daughter Angel Ross; her grandparents, Eddie, Lela McGowan, Johnny and Gertrude Mingo; and her brother David McGowan.

She is survived by : her parent Archie McGowan (Mattie); her husband Travis Ross, Sr.; her children, Varionna Mingo of Bogalusa, LA, De'Montrey Mingo of Bogalusa, LA and Travis Ross, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA; her grandchildren, Natalee Keating McGowan, La'Dariyah Mingo, Josiah Weems, Caleb Peters and Calis Mingo; her stepgrandchild De'Karter Watts; her siblings, Augustine Brown (Michael) of Hackley, LA, Deborah Lee of Angie, LA, Barbara Owens (Carnell) of Sandy Hook, MS, Betty Conerly of Bogalusa, LA, Patricia Lewis of Bogalusa, LA, Rolanda Mingo, Tawasha Hargrove (Koury) of Angie, LA, Yspronga Mingo of Bogalusa, LA, James Carter (Gill) of Sandy Hook, MS, LaDaisihas McGowan of Angie, LA and Lakevona McGowan of Angie, LA; and her close friend Maria Weary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
