He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Hines and Lizzie Thomas Hines; his siblings, Clayton Hines, Mark Hines and Ida Nell Hines Wright; his siblings-in-law, Winfred Passman, Billy Wright and Lela Thomas; and his great grandchild Mia Hope Cerda-Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Sue Hines; his children, Rhonda Penton (Billy) of Bogalusa, LA, Monica (Eld) and Aaron Hines (Melissa) of Bogalusa, LA.; his grandchildren, Amy Anderson (Chris), Leanne Smith (Tom), Jennifer Duncan, M'Kayla Dykes (Joey), M'Kenna Cerda (Isaac), Courtney Hines and Brooke Hines; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Claire Anderson, Ema, Allie Smith, Eden Wilkerson, Sofia, Chloe Cerda-Duncan, Magnolia and Matilda Hines.
