She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. James "Jim Boy" Fontenot; her sons, Donald Wayne Fontenot and Darryl "Marty" Fontenot; her parents, Gilbert Martin and Flora Martin; and her siblings, Kenneth Martin, Lola Custer and Carmen Russell.
She is survived by : her sons, David "Mike" Fontenot (Kim) and Daniel "Danny" Fontenot (Karen); her grandchildren, Chris Fontenot, Cassady Hickingbottom, April Hallinan, Kandi Nicholson, Autumn Fontenot, Colby Fontenot, Taylor Fontenot and Kayla Fontenot; her brother Gilbert T. Martin Jr. (Tom); and her daughter-in-law Terry Fontenot. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
