With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jashon Trene Johnson-Ezell of Bogalusa, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 49. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ray Johnson; her sister Andreia Nelson; and her grandfathers, Walter Sanders (Dollie) and Joe Johnson (Oral Lee). She is survived by: her parent Freddie Straughter (Calvin Straughter); her daughters, Jaderrica Johnson, Jacynthia Bickham and Jaisis Bickham; her grandchildren, Nashira Winston, Nicholas Winston, Aariyah Lowe and Josiah Johnson; her sisters, Tameca Johnson and Khamika Sowell; her siblings' children, Clariona Foxworth, Arnasiyah Fortenberry, Markayla Mark, Kendaven, Keniyrien and Kenmorie Pigott; her friend Nikki May; her stepsister Jemeka Roberts Johnson; and her aunts and uncles, Annie Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Otis Sanders (Penni), Charlie Ray Warren, Rose Adams, Diana Bell and Barbara Felice. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home (638 N Columbia St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
