She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel McKenzie and Mary McKenzie; her son Jasper Earl McKenzie; and her siblings, George, Christine Magee, Frances Pittman, Dorothy, Annie Mae, Samuel Jr., Alma Lee (Butch) of James, M. L., Gene, Ted Gibbs, Willie (Duke) and Jerry (Bay).

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Johnny McKenzie Lena, Jewl, Mary Jewl, Leroy and Roy. She is also survived by family members, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-great nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home (638 N Columbia St, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
