It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jean Sams of Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Coates and Eula Coates; her husband Evert Lee Sams; her daughter Sharon Key Lein; and her grandson Chad Powell.
She is survived by : her brother William Coates; her children, Dewayne Sams (Maggie Frantz) and Brenda Powell (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Chris Powell, Jesse Powell, Alisha Bilbrey and Joseph Bilbrey.
