We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Matthew Griffin Jr. of Braithwaite, Louisiana, born in Davant, Louisiana. He was predeceased by : his wife Hazel Ben Griffin. He is survived by : his child Elveria Evans; his granddaughter Cassandra Reddick (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Ryan Charles and Kaleb Reddick; and his siblings, Gloria Riley (Edwin) and Andrew "Kermit" Griffin. He is also survived by nine foster children, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.

Due to COVID-19, everyone in attendance is ask to wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
