She was predeceased by: her parents, Oleus Champagne, Sr. and Elise Gauthier Champagne; her siblings, Howard Champagne, Earl Champagne, Harold Champagne, Linden Champagne, Sr., Edward Champagne, Oleus Champagne, Jr., Maudry Landry and Verna Guidry; and her close friend Lonnie B. Foster.

She is survived by: her sons, Reynold Serrette (Mary), Gary Serrette (Karen), Barry Serrette (Beth Bullock) and David Serrette (Tessie); her siblings, Harris Champagne (Doris), Mazel Dwyer and Elise Verrett; her grandchildren, Renee Serrette, Josh Serrette (Monique), Jessica Serrette Wilson and Tara Serrette; and her great grandchildren, Jase Serrette, Ezra Luben, Joni Serrette, Maria Wilson and Talon Wilson.
