She was predeceased by: her father Freddy J. Abraham, Sr.; her sister Michelle Abraham; and her grandmothers, Marina Benjamin and Pauline James. She is survived by: her husband Charles Young; her children, John Hawthorne (Jashae Brown), Johnathan Hawthorne, Joshua Hawthorne, Jacob Hawthorne (Taylor Macon) and Jennifer Simon; her mother Brenda Abraham; her siblings, Renee Simon (Patrick), Marina Abraham, Latoya Abraham, Freddie Abraham Jr. (Audrey) and Lamont Abraham Sr. (Claudene); her friend Fredricka Charles; and her aunt Zina Thomas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
