It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Braud Franklin (Brusly, Louisiana), who passed away on May 25, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her children, Lucille Amy Franklin Dion and Roman Gene "JuJu" Franklin Jr.; her parents, Louis Joseph Braud and Melvina Cedatol Braud; and her sister-in-law Delories Franklin.

She is survived by : her husband Roman Gene "Buck" Franklin Sr.; her children, Tammy Franklin Davis (Pat) and Louis Bryan Franklin (Terri Jeanette); her grandchildren, Bryan Joseph Messina, Caitlin Ross, Lauren Ashley Franklin, Forrest Patrick Dion, Jacie St, Preston Dale Dion, Austin Gene and Madison Amy Franklin; her great grandchildren, Jackson William, Sawyer Joe Messina, Liam Brian and Lathan Blake Franklin; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Layne Davis, Renee Davis McCoy and Tanya Davis Mooney; and also, William Franklin, Jack Franklin, Sarah Franklin Gonzales and Ann Franklin Pitre.
