She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Ponthier and Pearl Johnson Ponthier; her former life partners, Mervin "Babe" Redmon and Carl Pittman; her son Manuel Pittman; her brother Paul "Winkie" Ponthier; her grandsons, Mervin Lee Redmon, III, Jake Ducote and Michael Blalock; her son-in-law Leo Blalock; and her brother-in-law Wayne Myers.

She is survived by : her husband Edward Troha of Bunkie; her children, Brenda Blalock of Bunkie, Charmagne Ducote (Michael) of Evergreen, Troy Redmon (Melissa) of Kolin and Mervin Redmon, Jr. (Laurie) of Bunkie; her stepsons, Bobby Troha (Karen) of Bunkie and Gerald Troha of Memphis, TN; her sisters, Barbara Myers and Linda Ortego (Billy); and her grandchildren, Brandy Kidder, William Blalock, Heather Bordelon, Jessica Rredmon, Andrew Redmon, Rachel Lee, Lauren Roy, Lindsey Gullett, Dakota Pittman and Joel Pittman. She is also survived by her nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
