He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Kirkland and Lena Kirkland; and his siblings, Willis Brent Kirkland, George Benton Kirkland, Linda Miller and Allie Bixler.
He is survived by : his wife Edwina Brown Kirkland; his sons, Robert Edward Kirkland (Cara Battaglia Kirkland) and Gary Allen Kirkland (Jamie Lynn Gooden); his grandchildren, Jessica Roan, Austin Kirkland (Araceli), Andrew Jennings (Sue Ann), Kennedy Kirkland, Khloe Kirkland and Savanna Harris; his great grandchildren, Miah, Maverick Roan, Drake and River Kirkland; and his siblings, Harry Truman Kirkland (Nancy), Bobbie Lee Antley, Dina Antley and Vallie Kirkland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
