She was predeceased by : her husband Robert E. Patterson, Jr.; her children, Bobby R. Saffel and Debra Sullivan; her parents, Tom Henry and Arbelle Calvet; and her siblings, Tereal Calvet, Earnest Calvet, Tom Henry Calvet, Jr. and Frances Aldridge.

She is survived by : her sons, Dereal Baker, Ned Patterson (Jane) and Danny Saffel (Diane); and her close friend Gary Collins. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
