He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pete Romero, Wilfred, Bella Landry and Janelle Grossie; his uncle Bryan Arcement; his cousin Hailey Cormier; and his aunt Phyllis Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Baily Romero (Tyra Dorsey) of Milton and Layla Romero of Carencro; his fiancé Jamie Landry of Carencro; his parents, Michael Romero and Donna Romero of Scott; his grandchildren, Emery and Sadie Romero; his siblings, Joey Romero (Jessica) of Rayne and Danielle Babineaux (Jerome) of Scott; and his siblings' children, Jenna Babineaux, Jackson Babineaux, Dylan Babineaux and Jozlyn Romero.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
In lieu of flowers, contributions towards the family would be greatly appreciated.
