As we bid Dolores Allemond farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dolores Allemond is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milton John Serrette, Sr.; her daughter Katie Benoit; and her parents, Abel Allemond and Marie Keddy. She is survived by: her children, Milton John Serrette, Jr. (Rachael) of Henderson, Faren Paul Serrette (Anik) of Cecilia, Timothy Serrette of Maurice, Jennifer Devillier (Louis) of Breaux Bridge, Perry James Serrette and Pamela LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge. She is also survived by grandchildren; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Henderson Hall Henry Guidry Memorial Park (1015 Amy St, Henderson, LA 70517).
