It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Nedra Dickerson Defreese (Chatham, Louisiana), who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Dickerson and Omega Dickerson (Reginald DeFreese, Sr.); her son Michael Glen DeFreese; and her brother Weldon Dickerson (Alma). She is survived by : her son Reginald DeFreese, Jr. (Diane DeFreese); her granddaughters, Lauren Hay (Bryan Hay), Celeste Allen, Julie Young (Marc Young) and Aimee Socha (Stan Socha); and her great grandchildren, Abby Allen, Madeline Galland, Mia Sallinger, Harper Hay, Ann Marie Chaney, Audrey Cooper, Jane Socha, Joseph Allen and George Socha.
