She was predeceased by : her parents, Elton Batiste and Clementine Batiste; her husband Rodney Carrier; the father of her children Joseph Leo Paul, Sr.; her children, Mary Ethel Landry, Joseph Curtis Peter Paul and Curtis Paul; her siblings, Enola Johnson, Lucy Duplechain, Maudry Handy, Mary Duplechain, Elton Batiste Jr., Joesph Lee Batiste and Henry Brooks; and her grandson Joseph Micheal Landry.
She is survived by : her sister Margaret LaDay of Church Point, LA; her son-in-law James "Jimmy" Landry of Church Point, LA; her grandchildren, Troy Paul (Dalton), Terry Landry, David Landry (Hazel), Angela Bellard (David), Tiffany Barfield (Robin), Jasmine, Dalana Paul and Joseph Lee "Junior" Charlot (Bethany); and her brother-in-law Wallace Duplechain.
