She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Lee Babineaux; her daughter Gwendolyn Babineaux Francois; her grandson Alex Babineaux; her parents, Joseph Arceneaux and Leona L. Arceneaux; and her sisters, Mary Lou Johnson and Joan Coleman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol (Lawrence Malbrough) of Lafayette, Ethel Babineaux Lewis of Beaumont, TX, Patricia (James Clemons, Jr.) of Lake Charles, Sandra Babineaux of Church Point, Michelle (Howard Andres) of Church Point, Monica (LeRoy Citizen) of Church Point, Phyllis (Wayne Singleton, Sr.) of Opelousas and Leona (James Baloney, Sr.) of Church Point; and her siblings, Ruby (Jack Sharlow) of Sunset, Vincent Ray (Rose Arceneaux, Sr.) and Joseph (Ursula Arceneaux). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
