With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Mae Mire Venable (Church Point, Louisiana), who passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elie Mire and Thea Leger; her children, Deborah Venable, Andy Venable and Dewey Venable; her brothers, Abbie Mire and Elton Mire; and her grandparents, Anteol Leger, Melanie Mire, Emile Leger and Denisa Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Venable of Lafayette, Allen Venable (Lisa) of Lafayette, Stewart Venable (Russell) of Baton Rouge, Christine V. Savage of Bosco and Mona V. Leger of Lafayette; and her sister Clarice Mire Royer of Chalmette. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren.
