She was predeceased by : her father Charles Philip Oakes; her son Shawn Anthony Howard; and her nephew James Edward Thacker. She is survived by : her mother Glenda Ann Hunt of Jena, LA; her husband Roy Howard of Columbia, LA; her children, Brandon Oakes (Tracey) of Jena, LA, Serena Travis (James) of Columbia, LA and Lisa Rials (Thomas) of Winnsboro, LA; her sister Susan Thacker of Jena, LA.; and her grandchildren, Ethan Gossett, Brayden Oakes, Andria Gossett, Peyton Oakes, Daelynn Travis and Bryce Oakes.
