He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James McDowell and Hazel Marie Perot McDowell; his sister Tina Meredith; his grandparents, Hazel and Dave Perot; and his son James.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Barker McDowell; his sons, Mark McDowell, Joshua McDowell, Kaleb McDowell and Daniel McDowell (Jessica); and his sister Tonie Walker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Columbia.
