With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louie Max Green (Converse, Louisiana), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Louie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by:, George Hortman Greene, Sr. and Lillie Belle Booth Greene. He is survived by: his son Ed Greene (Vickie Houser); his grandchildren, Brad Greene, Jared Greene (Molly Greene), Savannah Greene and Noah Greene; and his wife Mary Evelyn McDonald Greene. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Springs Cemetery (1032 LA-191, Converse, LA 71419).
