John Edward Allen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 81, John Edward Allen of Covington, Louisiana, born in Columbus, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Edward Allen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Eustace Allen and Margaret Russel Allen; his brothers, Donald Russel "Boy" Allen and Russel Clark Allen; and his son Clark Potter Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Devoe Allen; his sons, Matthew (Kim), Donald (Carolyn), Ethan and John Jr. (Katherine); his grandchildren, Ashley, Katherine, Morgan, Alex, George, Marilyn, Lily, Blythe, Annabelle and Cecilia; his great grandchildren, Torin and Sebastian; and his sister Mary Margret Allen Haydel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
