It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Melvin Ryan II (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ryan, Sr. and Ives Ryan (Populis); his son Chad Michael Ryan; and his sister Alice Sue Kriz. He is survived by: his wife Beryl Ryan (Fransen); his children, Leonard "Lenny" Melvin Ryan, III (Kimberly) and Rhonda Ryan; his grandchildren, Tyler Ryan and Kailey Ryan; and his brother G. Lyman Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Melvin may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Kidney Fund.
