She is survived by: her husband Walter Birdsall, Sr.; her children, Brenda Klazynski (Ralph), Dr. Maria Cruse (Kenneth Cruse), Dr. Gary Birdsall (Wanda) and Thomas Birdsall; and her grandchildren, Dr. Robert Klazynski, Dr. Alyssa Cruse, Caroline Cruse, Joseph Cruse, Dr. Lisa Fort, Dr. Emily Bui, Allison Birdsall, William Birdsall, Alexander Birdsall, Gary Birdsall, Jr., Paul Birdsall, Celeste Terrebonne, Hannah Naquin, Andre'Birdsall, Matthew Birdsall, Ashley Birdsall, Kristen Louviere and James Birdsall. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Saint Joseph's Abbey.
