She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Earl Childress Sr.; and her parents, John T. Grimes and Eula Pauline Ozbolt Grimes. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Michelle Gordy and April Kay Hood of Leesville, LA; her grandchildren, Ryan Gordy, Tanner Gordy, Tate Wilson, Amber Wilson, Shane Childress, Shasta Underwood and Lee Childress; and her great grandchildren, Greyson and Miyah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeane's Funeral Service (100 E Union St, Leesville, LA 71446). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
