He was predeceased by : his daughter Cindy Christen; his son-in-law Paul Neeley; his parents, Nick Christen and Lydia Christen; and his brother Ralph Christen.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Christen; his children, Sheila Neeley and Keith Christen; his grandchildren, Sabrina Cortez (Elsa), Cody Neeley (Catina), Kelsie Christen, Karlie Christen and Keith Christen, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Cortez (Michael Decuers), Drake Cortez, Braylen Neeley, Jackson Neeley, Liam Christen, Leilani Christen, Jonas Adams and Creed Christen.
