He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Comardelle and Vivian Matherne Comardelle; and his sisters, Jackie Cheramie and Joann Rogers. He is survived by : his wife Lola Laurent Comardelle; his children, Murphy Comardelle, Jr., Deidra Lincoln Ruley (Mike), Marty Comardelle (Sarah), Ricky Comardelle (Stacey), Scotty McKinney and Darren Comardelle; and his siblings, Walter "Popeye" Comardelle, Genevieve Frickey and Era Jane Toney. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
