He was predeceased by : his wife Elaine "Chunnie" Dufrene Hue; his sons, Lyndon James Hue and Jarrett Charles Hue, Sr.; his parents, Gilbert Hue and Mary Hue; and his siblings, Anna Mae Knight, Grace Hue and Joseph Hue.

He is survived by : his children, Tina Hamilton (Red), Myra Haynes (Kenneth), Donna Myers, Jill Stoltz (Calvin), Wilton J. Hue, Jr. and Brett Hue (Jamie); his grandchildren, Alicia Hamilton Malloy, Kade Hamilton, Sr. (Julia), Caitlyn Haynes Roux (BJ), Cody Hue (Elizabeth), Blake Hue (Jennifer), Brianna Hue, Michelle Hue, Nicole Hue, Sara Stoltz, Emilie Stoltz, Adam Stoltz, Jarrett Hue, Jr. and Dustin Curole; and his siblings, Lucy Royster and Curtis Hue. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to VFW Post 3750, Luling, LA or the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Lance Corporal Lyndon James Hue, USMC.
