She is survived by: her children, Norma Johnson (Otha) of Destrehan, LA and William L. Mitchell of LaPlace, LA; her grandchildren, Latinya Darensbourg, Jasmine Mitchell of New Sarpy, LA, Ariane Phillips (Stanley) of Hahnville, LA, Shaunea Spencer of Austin, TX, Johann Jackson (Leary) of LaPlace, LA, Terence Mitchell of Kenner, LA and Trevone Mitchell of Denver, CO.; her siblings, Yvonne Mitchell (Nathaniel), David Turley (Latechia), Wayne Turley (Yolanda) of LaPlace, LA, Lonnie Turley (Maria), Garrison Turley (Valencia) of St. Rose, LA and Darryl Turley (Wanda) of Killeen; her sisters-in-law, Helma of Germany and Josephine Turley of LaPlace, LA.; and her niece Melva Brown. She is also survived by her family, she touched many lives and leaves to cherish her Memories, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Good Hope Baptist Church (47 Cathy St, Norco, LA 70079). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
