She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilson Montecino and Melina Cavalier Montecino; and her sisters, Elsie Ruiz, Elfa Hebert, Helen Vicknair, Essie Mae Hebert, Gladys Castro and Mary Lee Blanchard.
She is survived by : her husband Albert "Black" Castrogovannie; and her children, Ricky Castrogovannie (Robin), Blaine Castrogovannie (Trish), Penny Boudreaux (Ronnie), Candy Guillot and Alley "Teetie" Castrogovannie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
