He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Sherman and Elsie Sherman; his siblings, Richard, Allen, John, Nathaniel and Vicky; his parents-in-law, Lloyd, Sr. and Josie Acosta; his grandmother Faye Montero; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Acosta and Rachael Acosta; and his nephew Jude Jarreau.
He is survived by: his wife Jodie Acosta; his son Allen; his granddaughter Taylor; his great grandchild Norah; his granddaughter Alexis; his great grandchild Luke; his grandsons, Austin, Riley and Christopher; his nephew Ken Sherman; and his sister-in-law Shirley Sherman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Francis of Assisi Church (818 W 10th St, Donaldsonville, LA 70346). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
