It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Gaulden of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Darryl Gaulden; her parents, Hazel Harris and Robert of Washington; and her sons, Robert and Marvin Parker.
She is survived by : her children, Warren Parker, Jr. (Janice), Regina Williams, Debera Grant (Ray), Gloria Parker and Detheria Parker; her siblings, Arthur Johnson, Jr., Earline Parker, Lillie Thomas, Ella of Washington, Betty of Washington and Tiffany Anthony; and her uncle Rev. Matherne Johnson. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church (926 St Patrick St, Donaldsonville, LA 70346). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
