With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Mix Landry of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Sr. Mix and Janet Neveu Mix; and her brother Michel "Mitch" Mix. She is survived by: her husband Edward Landry Sr.; her children, Edward Landry Jr., Todd Landry and Tara Martinez (Ben); her grandchildren, Collin Landry (Julia), Abigail Landry, Miranda Landry, Trent Landry, Caroline Martinez and Molly Martinez; and her goddaughter Madeleine Varner (Johnny).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Jules Catholic Church (7161 LA-1, Belle Rose, LA 70341). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
