She was predeceased by : her husband Wilson; her parents, Felix Landry and Nellie Landry; and her siblings, Steve Landry, William Landry, Cleve Landry, Clive Landry, Anna Belle Chedatol, Dorothy Landry and Marina Aucoin.

She is survived by : her children, Rhonda Zeringue (Leonard), Rachael Hardeman, Robyn Mitchell (Kevin Sr.) and Wilson; and her cousin Chad. She is also survived by Cousin, and Jeremy Cousin and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Velma donated her life to her family and loved each and every one of them with all her heart.
