He was predeceased by : his wife Katherine Spillers; his parents, Doc Spillers and Palmer Spillers; his sons, Ronald Spillers and Donald Spillers; and his siblings, Freddie Mae Linder, Penny Compton and Jackie Spillers.

He is survived by : his sons, William R. Spillers, Jr. (Randy) of Downsville, LA and Daniel Spillers of Downsville, LA; his grandchildren, Samantha Spillers, Trey Spillers, Doc Spillers, Amanda Hancock and Melinda Larson; his great grandchildren, Emma Crowell and Trevor Hancock; and his siblings, Robert Spillers, Joe Spillers, Tim Spillers, James Spillers, Betty Ardis, Brenda Jordan and Dorothy Howard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorials to be made to Aulds Chapel Bible Church Benevolent Fund, 174 Aulds Chapel Road, Downsville, LA 71234.
