With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Maxey (Dry Prong, Louisiana), who passed away on July 31, 2018 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband Jerrel "Kid" Maxey of Dry Prong; her children, Jarett Malone (Germaine) of Arizona, Kristina Marie Leonard of New York, Amy Maxey of Arizona and Caitlyn Workman (Russ) of Arizona; and her sisters, Patricia Kennedy (Shannon) of New York and Rose McQueen of New York. She is also survived by four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society and Christus Hospice.
